Colonel Coon Collectors Club

Post by bkazz5 »

I am interested in knowing how many years there was a Colonel Coon Collectors Club knife. What years and what was the knife. The only one I have seen was a big stag congress that had file work from the early 80's. Thanks. Pictures if you got em.

I poked around and found a few pics. Two pics right here on AAPK and one from Ebay. Here they are. A 1983 stag congress, 1988 red bone razor, and a 1989 not sure what to call it. I imagine there were Coon Collector Club knives made for other years. If you have any info let us know.

Great information. Thanks. Now I'm pushing my luck but do you know how many of each year were made?

Wow that's cool. That's one of those knives I traded and then had second thoughts afterwards. I'm just curious where you got it. I always wonder how many times a knife has changed hands in it's life time. Here's what I know about that weathertron knife. I bought it from a man in Indiana in April 2013 who said he remembered buying it directley from Adrian at a show. (I can't swear that part is true). I owned it for a few months and then traded it to a dealer at the Parker show in June of this year. I wonder if you got it from him or if it changed hands a few more times before it got to you.

I do still have that catalog. If you want a copy of it I will glady make copies and send it to you. PM me with your e-mail address.

I also have some coons I would be willing to trade for others if you are interested.
