Thanks for the heads-up on BF.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

A garage sale find. Canal Street Cutlery Co. three bladed oiled rams horn pocket knife. The knife has nickel silver bolsters, and brass liners. Serial number 035. It is made in the U.S.A. The knife is like new. Closed it measures 3 and 5/8" open it measures 6 and 3/8." Cannitller or combination of canoe/whittler pattern. 440c stainless steel no box or papers.
Re: oiled rams horn
mrwatch, what a find for a garage sale. You found the prize egg. Congrats.
Re: oiled rams horn
Great find mrwatch! That's D2 steel on those, not 440C. There were a few different batches of those made for different SFO's. There was a batch of 25 made in 2007 for the annual Founder's Day knife, and a couple of other small batches. Yours I believe is the regular production run that was a 50 piece run. Definitely not a lot of those around so you did super well!

Thanks, he has quite a few that was his Grandfathers knives including a few home made fixed blades a couple looked like from files and an interesting folder. He may yet find the box for it.
And thanks for the answer as to what type of steel. Some internet listing are not too accurate.
