This set of razors were my grandfathers which were never used! I would appreciate any information about these.

Gorgeous set!! I believe they are later 1800s, maybe 1870-1890 era. The handle scales appear to be cow horn and the condition spectacular.

Beautiful "gentleman's set" of razors . Wostenholm was a premier cutlery house in Sheffield. Gunsil's idea on the date pretty much coincides with mine.
I don't think that is a presentation set as such. It's a pair of higher end production razors etched and cased to appeal to those with a bit more disposable income than the average working man. Still a beautiful set. Take good care of them, you don't see blades that age in that condition very often and the fact that they have family history makes it all the more imperative that they last for future generations.

Thank you for your comment. They have a lot of sentimental value if nothing else. I have several other razors that are family heirlooms as well that I’ll post at a later date.
