Asking prayer for Miss Joy's dad.

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Sunday 2-13-22 update:
Miss Joy's dad is still very weak and frankly most of the family is surprised he is still on this side of Glory.
The plan at this time is to move him from the hospital to a rehab and then to one of Joy's sister's home all the while under hospice care, etc.
Everyone would love to see him recover from this. Though it seems like each of his rallies, a step forward, has led to two steps back. Reality is that Grandpa is very close to his final hours or days due to the deterioration of a 98-year-old body.
Pray for the family as this time approaches. We all need the Lord's comfort and grace to get through this.
Continue to pray for mercy if you will.
Thank you.

So sorry for yall's loss brother Phillip. But for brother Redditt, I rejoice for him. Let Mrs. Joy know of my condolences.

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.”

Sorry to hear this Phil. I've been praying for one more rally and a little more time for Miss Joy's Dad to be here. Now my prayer will be for peace and God's joy for your family. It's hard to let go of loved ones even when you can see it coming, and the flood of memories seem to be a mixed blessing but are a real part of the grieving that God made us with. May God continue to bless you all as you go through this time. ____Dave

We never want to see our loved ones leave this earth. BUT... there is an eternal joy waiting for Mr. Willard, and us, in God's kingdom.

Mr. Willard will be so very happy when he enters our Lord's kingdom. We are always selfish and we want to keep our loved ones with us. We never want to give them up here in this imperfect world. But, EVERYONE that accepts our Lord Jesus as their Savior will be able to spend eternity with our loved ones that go before us! What a blessing!

Father, please bless Mr. Willard and his family during this difficult time.
May your perfect will be done.

In the holy name of our Savior we pray.

Thanks again for the prayers and condolences that have been posted during this special time in our family. Miss Joy really appreciates your expressions of concern. We are sad and we are happy at the same time. Sad that he is gone from this earth but happy that he is enjoying his final reward. He always put the Lord first in his life.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Grandpa, Wednesday evening beginning at 5 pm, burial will be Thursday morning at 10 am there in Orlando.

What a wonderful pile of memories he left behind. I know that I for one, would love to read some of his stories if you were ever inclined to write them down in a thread. Those memories and stories are a blessing from the Lord.
