Remington knives with an etch

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

I've been looking a long time for a R1123 that was worth keeping. Owned a few place holders but finally got one.

Keith, your R1123 is fantastic. ::tu:: ::tu:: The bone is beautiful and the blades look untouched.

Here is another R4353 bullet. Several gorgeous examples the R4353 have already been posted in the thread.

Great knife Jerry. That pattern seems to be hard to find with a good etch. ::tu::

Keith, fantastic example. Nice blade etches are hard to come by and stag is even more challenging.

Found this R1306 in a box with some newer Case celluloid handled knives. Knife has never been sharpened and when you open the blade you really have to press the lock back hard to release the blade.
