REMAKES OF THE REMINGTON BOY SCOUT POCKET KNIVES

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

I have only seen them in 2009 and 2012, but they were probably 2009 to 2012. You could search and buy a old knife as cheap as the Repro knives. I see RS3333 for $65-70 and up for really nice ones.

I believe the answer to at least part of your question is here viewtopic.php?f=67&t=50937&p=547084&hil ... on#p547084

As far as I can recall those made by Bear & Son were the only authorized reproductions of Remington Authentic Scout knives. After that debacle there may never be another. ::facepalm::
