If I find one Rocky. I'll for sure send it your way. Probably only one feeling better than filling out a long desired Remington collection

Quick Steel, thinking about your question...if your question is the knife just above the RH4 with the wide "ricasso" then that is the RH4b and the handle material is bone. Sorry trying to be helpful in answering your question.

I picked up a RH22. Looks to be unused. Not a high dollar knife but pretty cool.

Re: Remington's RH Pattern Fixed Blade Knives
Oh, and by the way Keith that fish knife you mentioned,(RH84) probably the same knife. It was priced too high but I was able to talk him down a little...still too high but I wanted it and was willing to settle at his new asking price as a buy it now option to put it in my collection. It is a dandy! Two knives to go to finish out that fish knife collection, the RH55 and a R1630.
Would appreciate any heads up on locating them.
Great looking Rh22 you've snagged!

A few more Remington RH knives.
The single pic Remington RH is a RH29-5 with sheath. The last group picture has the RH28 in it.

I received a dandy little Remington today.
It is 7 3/8" long with a 4 inch blade.
I can't believe how beautiful the bone covers are on this thing.
The sheath at some point was soaked in oil and weakened the strap and it parted.
Thanks for looking.

Great looking little knife Joe. And I concur that it has beautifully aged bone on the handles!

You are sum'thin else Keith! I think you have a time machine and your going back and forth pick in' up knives! Great looking set and again hard to come by especially in that condition. Amazing collection Keith!
By the way do you have a key for your upright Remington DuPont counter top display? I have one but the door on back is locked. Wondered if it would fit mine and if a copy could be made.

Re: Remington's RH Pattern Fixed Blade Knives
Thanks Keith but I'm showing the pics of it in a different thread. It's the upright model in natural wood.

Re: Remington's RH Pattern Fixed Blade Knives
You had me at "nice find" my first post! so I had to dig out my first knife my grandpa gave me about 45 years ago, the first time I went fishing. Thanks to the first post, I identified it! It's beat to heck, and part of the handle is broken. What can I do to try and preserve it from getting worse, it's been in an old tackle box, yes with his lures!
Dang it! Now that I found this site, I see myself buying waaaaay too much!
Re: Remington's RH Pattern Fixed Blade Knives
That's awsome Gizmo, I have no knives from my dad. One Sunday pen knife of my grandpas, that's a cheap CAMCO. That's a great knife that could tell many family stories. Thanks for showing it to us
Re: Remington's RH Pattern Fixed Blade Knives
Thanks!! Yeah, I've had it since 9, guess that started my love of knives... unfortunately at 9 I used it to dig up stuff, and all kinds of silly things, but, I also know my grandpa used it all the time cleaning fish, and probably digging up stuff tooespn77 wrote:That's awsome Gizmo, I have no knives from my dad.
