R4243 need value

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

Nice looking example Harold. Many of these have shortened punch baldes but this looks good. Keith would be a one to put a current value on it. Hopefully he'll look in.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

I have one in the same condition as yours , blade etch and full punch , believe I paid 500.00 for mine .
I would think anywhere from 800-500 would be realistic IMO .

That was about where I was thinking, but I don’t look at eBay or any of the on line auctions. Harold

Camillus was the Remington authorized source at that time. Maybe this will help https://www.chiefmarketer.com/bullet-proofs/, or if you go to the Remington Collector forum here and do a search for “reproduction” you’ll find a lot of information about them.
