Valley jigged??

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Valley jigged??

Post by Rotten »

Saw some of the new valley jigged bone scaled knives online last night. Looks kind of interesting.
Anyone have a sample in hand they could post some good pictures of?

I saw them in person yesterday at my local Case store. I agree they look interesting. May have to add one next Saturday as they are hosting the annual Case knife event in North Carolina. President of Case supposed to be there as well. This is in Union Grove, NC. Imagine that. If I score one I will post it up here. Definitely something different. ::tu::

Thanks SSK, I got sidetracked and never came back to add a pic. May have to breakdown and pick one up just to see for myself.

I can’t decide if I like it or not. Curious what someone thinks after they have seen and handled one.

Another complete disappointment from Case.

They make so few Seahorses to begin with and then to relegate one to this handle material is beyond disappointing. ::td::

I agree with madtrapper. Once you have one in hand and see up close and personal it is ugly. Lack of better word.

(just messin', Elmo! I agree; I'm not enamored with it, either.)
