Pawnshop score

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Pawnshop score

Post by tallguy606 »

Walked into our local pawnshop, looked in the case, mostly garish import knives, but there in a corner was a Case Hammerhead with Case pouch. Stag scales, unused condition, tiny bit of tarnish on bolster, otherwise mint. About 1981, best I can determine. I said how much? Clerk said, what do you offer? Said, $30. She replied, how about $25, tax included? Needless to say, jumped on that. Having computer trouble, maybe can post a picture later on.

Nice score, not often do you see a pawn shop owner suggest a lower price than offered. Sounds like you may have a special touch. Let me know when we can hang together.
Honey do you have your pocket knife ? Do I have my pants on?
