Milo there seems to have been a cache of these recently released on to the market. I have looked at some of them and they appear to be the real thing. As with any antique though the more of them there are the lower the price will fall. I saw one on Ebay recently sell for about $200 which is well below what I would expect any Case tested era knife in mint condition to sell for.

I can't help you with a price but "1/2" designates a Clip blade which yours doesn't have. It's a 6231 without the "1/2". Very nice knife you have there.
