1979 52 congress info needed

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

1979 52 congress info needed

Post by junom »

Hi, I have a congress I need any information I can get, it's a r63052 ssp, it has long pulls on all three blades, I don't think it's from a set, like the ones that had red engraving on the blades. Thanks George God bless

George, you have to post pictures on a question like that. What brand is it?

Sounds like a 1980's knife, not 70's.

Hi it's a Case xx, the tang stamp is case xx with a lightning bolt s the lightning bolts and one dot to the left of them, U.S.A on the bottom. It has the raised letter case bold shield, I will see if I can get some pictures up soon, it's a nice looking knife, long pulls on all three blades I forgot where I got it from, it was in a roll I just got to it in about ten years, they get heavy after lifting out a few out of the safe, I think they get to about ten lb's when full, old age isn't fun, and hard work will hurt you. Thanks George God bless
