Straight XX

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Straight XX

Post by XX Case XX »

Picked up this XX Era 5392 a few days ago. Wasn't actively searching for one but I liked the fact that the handles, as well as the shield were well worn down. I felt it was good match for my USA Era 5392 (last photo). One day I'll find a used Original Dot Era 5392 and have one from all three eras. You can click on the photos for a closer look.

Great find Mike! I also like them experienced but well maintained - that way I don't feel bad about dropping them right into my pocket. And that one is just the size to carry and do some serious work. ::tu::

Thanks for the nice comments fellas. Blade snap is really good for it's age and no wobble. It's a heavy, solid feeling knife.
