Starting Over
Re: Starting Over
I own a couple older Green bone, but they are much lighter, almost yellow. Is a dark green bone more collectible than a light one?
Re: Starting Over
Treejakal, there is nothing wrong with the lighter color Greenbone, I have some too. I favor the darker better, but that just me.

Re: Starting Over
thanks, there is quite a range in color. I wanted to make sure I wasn't looking at the wrong one.
Re: Starting Over
Very nice group of knives!
This is a win win situation. Somebody is enjoying your knives and you are enjoying doing a refined collection.
If I were to start over it would be Case stags. It is funny how you can refine your collecting with more experience.

Super nice collection. Did you get those on Fri or Sat? I don't recall seeing much in the way of green bone, but maybe I didn't look hard enough

Sorry I miss you at the Dalton show, most of the Greenbones I pick up were already bought, I pick them up there.

No , I was following that thread too Jerry. I knew you were joking as I am sure Larry did as well. I don't think I want BRL giving an opinion on my knives if he actually did on the knife in the other thread. I thought one had to pay to get an opinion from him. Kind of wonder if he did weigh in. Obviously the knife in the other thread was authentic as well.
Jerry, as you and I both know, Larry is getting some real jewels. I didn't know there were that many super green ones out there.

Fully agree Tom. On all points. I too have heard he does this for a fee. Don't know for sure but for sure those knives Larry posted are in fact "jewels".olderdogs1 wrote:No , I was following that thread too Jerry. I knew you were joking as I am sure Larry did as well. Re: Starting Over
Those green bone whittlers you've been accumulating recently are all beauties Larry. You may be starting over, but looks like you're not slowing down!
