Thanks Greg Ken & Bill, I really like the bone too, the double pulls I think are a nice touch as well. Strong springs on this one which I have found to be pretty much the norm on Case Bros sunfish.

Tom, the red winterbottom 6237 1/2 is gorgeous! The match striker pull on the stag stock knife is nice.

I really like the Red Winterbottom handles, hardly ever see one though. It is a small market. I know Jerry maybe has a couple. I would like to buy more if I can find them. The old Case Bros knives always appeal to me as I like the bone jigging on most of the old ones.

Hi Fellas< Took My Knife To Warwarsing Historical Societies Knife Museum. And Showed it to the Currator , 20 Miles from Home ( The Real Deal ), As I Thought All Along,(" Transition Knife" ) As To Condition , unused ( Pre Owned ).I Took it there in response to Forum , I think Any Historical Link to Older Case Knives is well Rather Important , And Surviving 100+ Years in the Possession Of a Navajo Women an absolute Mile stone to the companies Ora of Mistery. So Yeah , Gonna have to say lucky me. Thank You ,Joe

That's interesting. I believe several members here are familiar with that museum. Who is the curator at the museum? I wasn't aware that they authenticated knives.
