Case & Case related knives over 100 years old

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Greg and Larry, y'all picked up some beauties. You just have a hard time beating the old Case bone.

Larry I guess you're calling that green bone to fit your recent collecting pattern? :mrgreen: Looks good to me! ::tu::

PLATTS BROS , ELDERD, PA. SUNFISH 1905

After Harvey Platts went to partner with Russ Case, W R Case & Sons in 1905 a few knives were produced for PLATTS BROS ELDRED by the brothers that were left before the move to Androver, NY, I believe they were all contract knives as Harvey took all of the equipment with him to Bradford.
This is the only one of these knives I have seen with this stamp. I believe it was produced by CASE BROS and would welcome opinions of others as well.

Thanks for looking ::tu::
