Case & Case related knives over 100 years old

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Tom, very nice! At first glance of the small picture I thought it was another Winterbottom example. :) ::tu::

Thanks Ken, I wish they did as well. These W R Case & Son knives were contract knives so I am sure that played a part as well.

Here is another recent pickup, a W R Case & Sons small cigar 82055. This one is in really good condition for its age.

Thanks for looking ::tu::

This one is from Case Brothers in Little Valley, NY. Think I am going to put this one and the next two knives on eBay as I have my eye on some other knives that I would rather have.

What would you call the pattern on that little Pearl knife?
Swayback?

It's a lovely looking knife sans bolsters. ::tu::

I call it a serpentine lobster, or dogleg lobster. The lobster comes from the way the blades open from both sides of the knife - when open it's like a lobster's claws (use your imagination :lol: ).
