The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

I've tried the research section for Case knives , and don't see these two. The small blade on the engraved one says #278. #279 on the stainless one . Both are new with no box, the guy says he thinks they are from the 70's or 80's. Both are lightning bolt SS and I can't tell if they are 9 0r 10 dots on each. I paid $25.. for each one. Thanks in advance for any help.
