Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Outstanding! I love the 47 patterns. That one looks like it’d make a fine edc.

John, I'm really taken with that Electric Storm Navy Blue Doc. ::tu::

Posted in another thread but I'm waiting on these three. Should be here by the end of the week or first of next week at the very latest. I have a feeling I'm going to be very pleased with all three.

All sellers pictures of course.

Those are some fine looking knives Jerry. It always warms my heart to see a self professed "non Case guy" slowly growing his pile of Case knives! ::tu::

Just the Mini-Trappers Mike. Most of the rest of the Case knives (even some of the Docs) I find (yawn) boring. JMHO
Okay, if I'm being completely honest, there's some Copperheads and some Medium Jacks I don't turn my nose up at but I would jump on those in any brand. I don't split the blanket with others because of their passion for Case knives so don't judge me for my disinterest. We all have some we could care less about.

Another reason I'm hooked on AAPK. You can bare your soul without fear of getting jumped on and stomped into a mud hole. Love this place.

Jerry, you Bass types be particular about what passes in front of you, us old catfish will just about suck up every thing we find. But to be honest, stockmans and trappers usually aren't my first pick.

Floyd, I don't really consider myself a Bass type. More a Catfish, Carp or Buffalo but even a blind chicken finds a kernel of corn now and then. (Did I just mix my metaphors? ::uc:: )

Picked this 1977 6318HE off evilbay. Seller listed it as a 1965-1969, wasn't sure if that was right or not due to crappy pics but for $30 shipped I took a chance. I think I did alright especially after a little spit and polish. The pull on the pen blade on a scale of 1-10 is about a 17, I have to open both the other blades to get a good grip to get it open even after cleaning and fresh lube. It's got a couple of minor cosmetic issues that I didn't get pics of but that's alright as I plan to sharpen it up on the Edge Pro and EDC it.

First pic is before cleanup.

Good score Rotten, nice bones. Love the dating mistakes too. They always claim the knife is older than it really is, never younger. Se la vi'.

Even with the decade-off "mistake" in dating the knife, you done real good. That knife is a beauty and it will make a fine user. I'm still searching for an 18 with pen blade.

Just received this custom slimline with brass scales. I came across this thanks to a friend pointing it out to me in the store here. Thanks Mr Kennedy for a great experience and a unique knife.

My newest Case, I didn't even know they existed until yesterday afternoon. A Case Southern Grind, it is some kind of sharp right out of the box! My son-in-law told my daughter, "I bet Granddaddy doesn't have on of these!" So he bought 2, one for me and one for him. :) Can't wait to try it on one of Bambi's kin folks, a knife that cost that much don't need to sittin' around collecting dust.

Thank you, Larry. I reckon a "tactical" has to grow on a feller. ::hmm:: I usually have a traditional folder, a stockman or a trapper in my pocket and have been carrying a tactical in my bib breast pocket for several years. I've abused a Buck and a SOG for several years without destroying my "good" knife. :)

Jerry, unfortunately the doctor's knife had to go back. It turned out to be a single blade (not as originally pictured) and the single blade on the one I received was blemished. But the Tribal Lock and truck with stag Peanut are outstanding. That jungle green camo Kirinite is spectacular, you really need to see it with your own eyes. ::tu:: ::tu::
