Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

I picked up this near mint 2017 Slimline Trapper at a reasonable price back in June but it just showed up this week. ::doh:: Although these puppys are larger knives than I normally prefer for carrying, it's a fine additon to my small collection of Case knives. ::tu:: Thanks for looking! ::handshake::
Very nice Tom! I like a slimline trapper! Great for slicing tomatoes, cucumbers and any other fruits and veggies. I got a 1970 ten dot I like very much. Yours is a beauty! Enjoy! I think you will like it. Keep after them. :)

You got that right, this one is the best green bone I have in the collection as of now, they do not seem to be as common as the redbone.

As I posted in the Bombs thread, I just recieved this 1980 A6235 1/2 #35 pattern Jack knife from John (1967redrider). I've never held one of these puppys before this one but I REALLY like it! The length is perfect for a main EDC IMO. ::tu:: The main blade is pretty stout & it's altogether a bit beefier than most of the knives I have & that makes it feel like a real "Man's Knife" ::nod:: The scales are gorgeous but my pictures don't seem to show just how nice they truely are. I'm very happy & thankful to own such a beautiful piece of cutlery! ::nod:: I would Love to have some more of these 35's. ::tu:: :D This is now one of my favorit knife patterns! ::nod::

Thanks John! &
Thanks for looking! ::handshake:: :D

I like that the pattern number on the 35 begins with "A" (to denote Appaloosa). I don't know why, but not all Case knives with Appaloosa bone handles had it. When details matter, that's a nice touch. 8)

Good evening everyone. I finally picked up a Case I've been wanting for a while now. What makes it cool, it's a five dot, and if my crude knowledge of Case stamps and era of them, it's a 6392 made in 1975. It's not mint, but it's clean. From how this knife looks, I can imagine someone giving this knife to their dad or grandpa in '75, or '76, and it was put away in a drawer. Anyhow, I'm stoked. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Thanks,
Phil

Been wishing for a spear barlow. This 'un scratches a couple of itches
61009 SS , antique smooth bone, rattailed and pinched bolsters.
And YES it will be toted
