Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

I picked up these two in an antique shop on Saturday.
I got them both for $40. Pretty good deal, I thought.

Thanks, gentlemen. It's laying on a copper kettle (laying on it's side), that I got, while stationed in Turkey.

Great looking knife, and I was going to ask, "What's cooking, Doc?" ::super_happy:: I thought maybe it was part of a copper instrument for making certain distilled products. ::woot:: ::tu:: ::tu::

Ha! Hadn't even thought of that. My brother-in-law built his own still and showed me how it worked. Pretty interesting...but, he lost everything, in the Paradise, California fires, a little over a year ago.
