Great find John. Love the bone on that one.
Nice pair you picked up Vit. I really like the looks and feel of the Tribal Locks.

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
Picked this pair up are real nice but I like the old style Muskrat . Don’t like the liner down the middle. Noticed there’s a G and a R stamp beside the Muskrat stamp. Guess stands for green bone and red but the red is not that red

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
Been trying to quit here lately to save up for a new tractor but couldn't turn down this for $35
Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
A well spent $35.
Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
Excellent decision, mikeb...the new tractor can wait a bit longer, but for $35 you really couldn't let that beautiful Case 75 get away. Nice score!

Here's an interesting and unique single-blade 6154W Wharncliffe Trapper (4 1/8"...not to be confused with the Tiny Trapper model _ _154) with Green Crows Foot Jigged Bone. According to James Parker (aka silverladdie), this model never made it into production.

Oh my word ~Q~ that is a beautiful knife! It should have made it into production and I
would certainly have one in my pocket. Great find Sir.

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
Wow is that cool jigging and color, and what a cool concept. Killlllllllls me how often the coolest patterns, or jigging like crows feet and colors like that somehow don't make it into production when all these bubble gum colored patterns and re-run-of-the-mill blade choices do. That is the coolest full sized single blade trapper I have EVER seen. If Case put out more cool stuff like that I would buy their knives. But alas, they don't make it anymore. They quit, didn't put it in production, phased it out, ended the pattern or whatever. I cannot for the life of me figure that one out. Totally inexplicable to me.

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
Q, that is a real peach. It's a shame they never put them into regular production; they'd probably sell like hotcakes.

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
It's great looking. Too bad it got cheated out of its other 4 blades! (I'd add little yellow guys poking each other with sticks if I knew how.) One of these years I'll buy a _ _54 Wharncliffe with less than 3 blades but it's still going to have a second blade. _ _54s carry best in leather belt pouches so, for me, thickness is not undesirable. If I had to carry _ _54s in Hawain shorts I might see it differently. What's the date? I'm wondering if it was made while Jim Parker owned case or how he knows it was not produced.
BTW, if you wonder about such things, if they do not have fat stag _354s fit in regular Case Trapper Pouches but 5554s require SAK pouches.
