Do YOU have a CASE XX knife in YOUR pocket today?????

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Pulled out this XX era 62087 to carry today. I love the bone on this one, and it is just as snappy as can be. No wobble either, just a really solid old Case.

Nice nut, Tony. Better be careful you don't drop it in the woods, you'll never find it again.
I dropped this Case trapper in my pocket today. CV blades, I had it re-handled with Buffalo horn, and the shield pinned on too.

Great carries, gents! ::tu:: I thought about getting a Muskrat with the Zytel handles (in pink camo) and replacing them with Micarta. Of course, Shepherd Hills sold out of 'em.

Y’all sure do have some fine CASE knives. Mike, I love the red bone on that 87!

I’ve had this one in my pocket for a couple of weeks. Two years older than me and in much better shape.

Back to my first love, Case knives that is. For some reason I decided to carry this Sod Buster the last few days.

It does the job! Some of the ol' Queens might need a rest, probably not for long though. ::hmm::

When I did a preview and enlarged the picture, I noticed there is still a bit of Bambi juice on the front rivet.

A Case soddy, great little all round knives. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::nod:: And good to see Case getting some love, a lot of negativity out there about Case. All mine are well made, and USA made pieces of Cutlery and history. :D :D :D ::handshake::

Ah, the iconic Seahorse Whittler was one of my first collected patterns. Yours is a nice one with the silver script shield, Tony. 8) ::tu::

Much appreciated, Q. If the pile side bone were 1/4 as nice as the mark side, it could become a permanent fixture. Alas, Case's QC gave this one a "good side" and a Phantom of the Opera side. ::facepalm:: Still a heckuva useful blade selection and great feel in the hand.

That's a beauty Olde Cutler. From before that frame morphed into the mini trapper. I like it
