Thought I would post this for our members before the public saw it. EyeBJoe and Paladin collaborated on this report with me. Hope you like it.

Wow! Well done! ::groove:: There's more detailed info in this manuscript on Carl Schlieper, than has ever been put in print to my knowledge. A big thank you to all that were involved ::nod:: This is a indispensable asset for the Eye collector!

Thank you. All the credit goes to Joe and Ray, I simply documented their research. Please share it with as many people as possible - this is an important and very underrated brand and I'd like to see it get its just due.

If you have any price changes based on experience please let me know.

Thanks Mark, and also your co-conspirators Joe and Ray. Schliepers have intrigued me for years.

I recall my paternal grandfather having carried one in the late 1950’s and bragging on the quality of the steel. But for reasons you stated in your paper I’ve refrained from collecting them. (BTW my first influence toward collecting Case was Dewey Ferguson, then later Jim Sargent, with an assist from Jim Parker). Anyway, your paper has piqued my interest in Eye Brand and provides a guide with information I previously did not have. ::tu::

Thank you Ken. Please feel free to let any and all folk know about the paper. Again, all credit to Joe and Ray.

Jim was a great guy. He treated you the same whether you spent $5,000 or nothing. Gina has big shoes to fill, but she’s awesome. I sure miss him.

Thanks for the article, very nice work!

I exchanged emails with Ray, Joe and Kaleb Reynolds a few years back with the intention of doing something similar to what you have done.
But sadly, all I ended up with is the Excel spreadsheet that's under the Tang Stamps discussion in the Knife Related Q & A forum.
You've done a great job of explaining some of the intricacies of the brand and I really appreciate it.

Thanks again,
Keith

I've updated my spreadsheet that I did about 10 years ago with more detailed info from the manuscript.
Would you guys take a look and let me know of anything that I need to add, edit or delete.
Thanks!
Keith

Very good job, thank you so much for your hard work. I’ve been blest to accumulate a whole TWO black one straight line knives and they are among my favorites for sure.
