This is definitely something I've never seen...different looking eye on the handle...stamped C Schlieper with Solingen Germany under the fan brand stamp. Has anyone else seen one of these??? Hoping someone can shed some light concerning this knife.
Thanks!

When the knife your grandfather/father carried or put up is handed down to you...treasure it...open it up from time to time...and by all means, keep it!

Prairiedog, I have seen two or three of these knives over the years. They were not of the top
quality of Schlieper and were most likely marketed outside the U.S. under the Fan Brand logo, with an isolated knife or two fnding its way into the country. Not a high quality piece but a good addition to a Schlieper collection IMHO. Nice find. Keep 'em coming.
