More ebay BS

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

To the best of my knowledge they were made by Utica for Taylor .I purchased a set with the pocket watch few years back.
It cost me $94 delivered to Australia.

Could not think of a better price than the first six numerals known to man, 123456. ::dang:: post 2004 and Utica made is correct.

"In June 1974, one of the first UPC scanner, made by NCR Corp. (which was then called National Cash Register Co), was installed at Marsh's supermarket in Troy, Ohio. On June 26, 1974, the first product with a bar code was scanned at a check-out counter. It was a 10-pack of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit chewing gum."

The price has been changed to BIN $250.

For posterity.

Well, he's at least within shouting distance of market value now.

This seems to be the "get out of jail free" card for sellers:
