Re: What Schrade RARE knife do you have
Awesome knife JAMESC.
This would be the correct catalog model. The catalog image posted above does not have the saber ground main but it is the same knife otherwise. I believe the 3/8 would be designating the saber clip blade. This is the same frame as the standard size cut cattle knives. It makes for a very pleasing jack knife as well.

Re: What Schrade RARE knife do you have
Here is one that didn't show up in the Schrade line-up until 1967, but it is pretty rare. Serial #00009, a salesman's sample. Notice the hinged box, the wide stone, and the diagonal sheath strap, all to quickly disappear for the 165OT, which went on to grace the belts of more than a few outdoorsmen.

As per Eric:
Pics confirm it was indeed Shaw-Leibowitz who did the blades. Thanks for posting your knife!ea42 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 2:47 pm ... Those were from A G Russell's Knife Collector's Club. It was the inaugural annual knife in I think 1972 (?). There were only twenty five made with the gold bolsters and rifle. I thought that those all had scrolled bolsters in the official version but you might have an extra there that possibly "fell" off the production line before it was engraved.
I think Shaw-Liebowitz did the engraving.

This little grail knife popped up on ebay last night. It was misidentified and I snatched it moments after it was listed.

Re: What Schrade RARE knife do you have
They are part of a small order of stainless OTs made for the European market in 1991. Several hundred were made, a handful were shipped and the rest were boxed and sold here. Notice the Schrade+ on the tang? The blades are etched 440 Stainless and the pattern numbers were altered. The 19OT is a stainless version of a 104OT. Other included 512OT (152OT), 518OT (158OT) and 126OT (125OT). The only other 19OT I have ever seen is the one on Larry's site. Sadly mine was a user so the etch is gone and the blade is sharpened - but still, as rare as it is I'm just thrilled it even exists. This pic of a good example is from COSRUS:Meridian_Mike wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 5:56 pm Great snag Jason..... I have never really noticed any 19 OTs.....

The irony here is that the one pattern mentioned in Cal's post that I neglected to include was the 226OT. I just recently bought a sample sheath for that very knife! That short term memory loss is a real pain in the ass sometimes.
