Nice collection. ::tu::
It is great that you have family heirloom knives! ::nod::
I have my granddad's 34OT with a Wharncliffe mod on the clip blade and my dad's 225H and 2 or 3 other Schrades that were dad's.
They're are my favorite Schrades! ::nod::

What a fine gallery of knives! I see some of my favorites in there. I bet you had fun rounding them up for the photo op. Thanks for sharing them. But don't stop now; there are some you don't have yet.

You have some very nice patterns there, BatJack....
Tom, I'd say you're being a might modest when you say you have a "few" Schrades .

It has been an enjoyable hobby.
I have a bunch of knives that aren't schrade but these are my favorite.

I found the 51OT Big Timer in a small town surplus store in the corner of a display case.
It was in a clam pack if I recall. I snatched it up because when I was little I remember one
in the display at the local Gibson's discount center back in the 70's sometime.
I thought it was the bee's knees because of the size and shape of the blade.
Never did get one though.... (time travel 30 odd years to the future) BAM GOTCHA ::ds::

Never have carried it, just whittled with it a bit. :D

My wife doesn't understand my knife obsession.
One time, while putting away dishes, I jokingly said "ya got enough tupperware in this cabinet?"
To which she replied "ya got enough pocket knives?"
I shut up at that point... ::teary_eyes::

Listed in the catalogs 1978-1981 only. One of my many favorites. ::tu::

There is only a little blood. Very appropriate, especially if you're whittling ::tu:: :D :D

BatJak,
There is a lot of info about Schrade knives on this site. Click on this link and it'll take you to the Schrade Knife Reference Guide here on AAPK.

I had some rolls out today, moving knives around. This thread seemed appropriate for this picture of my "number one" schrade roll of cuts and walden's. All bones in this except for my favorite pearl. The chain jack was in here but I moved it to my "number two" roll of pre delrin's. A third roll is needed.

The collection has come a long ways since I started with old schrades. I'm very grateful to have these fine pieces of history.

Batjak, nice group of schrades! Interesting to see the sears fixed blade(7th pic down). It is not very common. Wish I had that cool sheath to go with mine.

Paul very nice roll of Schrades ::tu:: Would be great to see a group photo or two of your Schrades outside of their rolls! This is just a tease when you show some knives in a roll with just their heads/bolsters poking out  Inquiring minds want to see ::nod:: Thanks

If it was shoes or purses, she would "get it".

I did notice there's no 863 in that fine collection. What the heck is that all about?

I've shown most of them, scattered about the forum, but some group photos would be good.

In the meantime until I get some photos together they are from right to left: 8813, 8813 SS, 881, 880, 879, 8173, 8566, 856, 856, 856, ulster stamped jr cattle (which is an 856), 787, 863, 895, 899, 899, 890, 890 and the chain jack is a 1251.

Thank you for posting your knives!

Tom, Saying you have a few Schrades is kind of like saying AAPK has a few members

Pickins is slim in the desert.
I can't find good ol' pocket knives around these parts like you fellas.

Where the heck do y'all find all these pocket knives?

I do have a couple Camillus 72 (one old BSA user and a white scaled one like new)

I frequently get depressed lookin at all the awesome knives on this site :(
