show your uncle henry's

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Jay don't be discouraged, not everyone replies or has something to show, but with over 700 views I'd say there's a bit of interest  ::tu::

Here's an unusual Uncle Henry, a 707UH done for Ducks Unlimited Canada. After opening the case I realized I'd better get to polishing that brass!! ::dang::

That seems like a relatively high serial # to me. The box and sheath are good indicators if you have them. Also the if it has "super sharp" etched on the blade, that narrows it down a bit. Post some pics I'm sure Dale,Eric or someone can dial in on it

I think it is awesome how even though it is not real stag, each knife has it's own character as though it were. Keep them coming!
