Yep, there are some hard to find Old Timers in the "Made in USA" line-up AND I refuse to knowingly buy any of the china Old Timers. The "Taylor Made" Old Timers are also china made.

Yep, that is a good collecting method you mentioned. There are quite a few "scarce" Old Timers out there but if you hunt long enough, they will pop up eventually.
My "holy grail" for a long time was the 2OT ..... BUT, there are some early Old Timers that are "holier than that grail".....LOL.
