SW display

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

SW display

Post by glennbad »

I had picked this display up form Barry a while back. It's been sitting in my workshop wrapped up in a towel. I finally got around to getting it out and cleaning it up. It's nothing special, but I think it's pretty cool. I went through my Schrade drawers and found period-correct Waldens to put in it.

Now just to figure out where to put it... ::hmm::

Looks great!

That SAK-type is in stellar condition! It seems to be one of the harder Schrades to find.

Thanks, I have a few that I acquired quite a ways back, when they weren't as popular.

Very sweet piece of knife history. 😎👍
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

I think it’s pretty awesome! Very nice.

Thanks! Sadly, it's sitting on a shelf in my closet right now, as I don't have a man cave to display it in the open...yet.
