Stanley Knives List?

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Stanley Knives List?

Post by cody6268 »

Is there a list of the Stanley contract knives? I've only seen a handful. Is there a 72-based knife in this lineup? I know one exists in the Harley line.

What leads to a TON of confusion is that United/Stanley also had them made in China, and it's hard to tell a difference without looking at both sides of the blades.

SL1--5" closed lockback
Small lockback (forgot what model)
SL12--4 1/8" standard Trapper with serrated Spey blade.

The 72 Clone made for Stanley is pattern SL-6. If you will go to page 4 of the Camillus 72 Clones thread viewtopic.php?f=63&t=62956&start=45 scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see what it looks like. Plus, when you have the time to read through the thread, you will see a lot of the different 72 Clones that exists.

Oh yes... I should have done that before I posted those pics.
I haven't taken any on my own of this knife. Those are the seller's pics.
