Camillus Ephemera

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

I found a cool Counter Sales Display last year.
There was an old catalog inside which listed this model display as #85.
I wish I could buy all the knives that are listed on the display at those sticker prices.

Stretch, that’s a Camillus collectors dream piece,you have a great piece and some literature ::tu:: ::tu::
If you get a chance could you show us a few pages from the catalog,would like to compare it to our other info and see if anything new or interesting pops up . And it would be a challenge to fill it with appropriate knives,some here could probably fill it from there collection!!
Thanks for sharing your pics and info.

Per your request.
Cover - Front & Back.
Based on the Factory Picture, I would date this catalog to no later than 1972.
All the cars I can see are definitely late 60's but the distinctive gold AMC gremlin parked all by itself helps the dating.
The Gremlin was not sold until 1970.

VERY nice finds! ::tu:: ::tu::
According to this site (click the link), that catalog dates
to 1972, 1973 or 1974.

and at this site, 1973.

Arriving yesterday afternoon, this pocket knife box became the latest item to be added to this topic or thread and to my CAMILLUS ephemera collection. It is a CAMILLUS, pattern "51" (BARLOW) pocket knife box. Overall, it is in GOOD condition with just some general wear.
