Camillus Cub Scout

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Camillus Cub Scout

Post by tallguy606 »

Found a very nice blue Cub Scout knife for $10 today. Looks never used, blades are very tight with great snap and half stop on the main blade. The bottle opener and leather punch blade have little liner locks, the main blade doesn't lock. The Cub Scout emblem on the handle is worn away a little, otherwise knife is like new. A solid little pocket knife, very well made, that I would have loved to have when I was a kid in the 60s.

Are you sure? Camillus began manufacturing official folding knives for the BSA in 1947...
