Camillus Model #8325? value

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Camillus Model #8325? value

Post by DABLADEMAN »

I was given an old Camillus scout type (4 blade) many years ago. It has light colored clear handles with morse codes on one side and signal flag codes on the other. It has ns bolsters with bail. It is in excellent (unused) condition, other than some minor specks on the blades. I spoke with Tom Williams at Camillus before then went out of business to get some info on the knife. He sent me a copied sheet with a picture of it in black and white with a model number 8325 or 8326. Does anyone have info on this knife, plus a possible value? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Knowing Tom and having worked with him on saving some of the Camillus history, he probably sent you all the information he had readily available at that time.
Unfortunately Tom passed away a few years ago, but he did manage to make a lot of the Camillus history available. If you Google Collectors of Camillus you should find posted online all of the Camillus catalogs that Tom was able to get a hold of.

A gentleman named Larry Vickery has posted a lot of Camillus and Schrade information on his website.
I can't post a link easily from my phone but perhaps JerryD or someone else can post a link to Larry's site for you.
