Need help with this knife

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Need help with this knife

Post by Steve321 »

Howdy!

I recently inherited some of my grandfather's things, including a bunch of his knives. Many of them are Camillus knives, though I'm curious about one in particular, as I'm having difficulty finding any info about it online. Hopefully some of you guys can help me out. I'm going to apologize in advance for the photos, because the camera on my phone has the functionality of a potato. I'm about as far from a knife expert as I can get, so any info is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the links, Vit! That's more info than I've been able to dig up, I appreciate it.

Nevertheless, we still do not have reliable information about this.
A beautiful knife + a fake description = the greatest mystery (or fraud) ::shrug:: .
