Couple OF Old Camillus Knives

Post by JohnR »

Picked up these 2 old Camillus knives, both well used but still tight and sharp. The one I call a Washington Jack, marked Sword Brand, 4 line tang stamp, just under 4".
The other is a large jack, 4 3/8", pretty ugly knife with handles that look like fiberboard, some type of plastic, hook construction, 4 line tang.

Very nice John. Lot of life left in the first one and the second one looks barely used. The top knife certainly looks like the knife the GEC Washington Jack was copied from. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark
