Camillus Bone Timber Scribe
Camillus Bone Timber Scribe
Picked this one up last week mainly because it has really nice worm groove bone, has 1 pin crack that I did not see until I took pictures. I have not come across all that many early Camillus knives with the worm groove bone.
Re: Camillus Bone Timber Scribe
That is a really neat find! Thanks for showing it. Would it be safe to assume its Rogers bone, due to the worm groove?

I think that's the first Camillus Timber Scribe I've seen. That sucker looks to be in excellent condition. What a great find.

Now that's a jewel right there. Outstanding!

That is a beauty!
Usually you find them with wood handles.

Re: Camillus Bone Timber Scribe
Thank you all, appreciate the comments. Dale, almost all I have seen have been wood with a few English ones in stag, I think it's pretty unusual to find one in bone.
Dave, it could be Rogers bone but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know for sure, maybe some members that do know will chime in.
