Camillus Sword Brand 881 Double Shield?

Post by TripleF »

Posted this on ebay and the bidding has gone up quite quickly.

I saw another one on ebay that has wood scales.

Are any 2 alike? Were they employee creations?

Standard #881 knife has wooden scales. Rivets may be hidden (1988-1990) or visible (1990-1999).

I thought it was the other way around: handle pins in first Woodcraft releases (881-887) and then handles glued on for subsequent runs.

Interesting little knife. Both shields look out of place to me. The front Schrade UH looking shield looks far too large for the knife. I'd guess a very well done rehandle. ::shrug::
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
