Could be, it would not surprise me if they made it in a 6" blade.carrmillus wrote:.........unless my memory is totally failing, I think I saw one on ebay a while back with a 6" blade, but that's the only one!!............ ...................
I would prefer the 6" blade myself

This one is the Camillus 5665L66 USAAF Emergency Kit Knife. They were supplied in 1942, 5 inch blade, 35,500 were made almost evenly split between stagged bone and stagged rosewood. Sheathes supplied by J.H.Mosser.carrmillus wrote:.........unless my memory is totally failing, I think I saw one on ebay a while back with a 6" blade, but that's the only one!!............ ...................

I picked this one up at a yard sale over the weekend. It's pretty beat up, and the sheath is wrong, but the price was to good to pass up.

Re: Show Your Camillus Fixed Blade Knives
The guy I got it from said it is a "old army knife". I did'nt ask him what war, but if it is ww2 maybe the sheath is mill. issue. I do'nt see any other markings on the knife and I have'nt cleaned it yet. do you know where to look for some clues to it's age?
