Silver Sword Wood Knives
Orvet I have a few old Camillus Sword Brand Knives I can't Find anywhere or in any catalog. Starting with the 1946-8 catalog all the way to 2006 and no trace of these knives but I could have sworn I'd ran across them somewhere before. Is it possible you or some guru in this forum might know of them. One is a wood handled Sword Brand 822 and the other is a Complete Wood Handled 802 Single blade Sword Brand knife, both have the Camillus 802,822 USA Stamp and on the Obverse they are stamped "Silver Sword" with crossed Swords in between. Again I thought I'd seen them somewhere before but I can't seem to place where that was Now. There's one other that's all wood also and resembles a #2 or #3 Lockback and about the same 3-1/4" or 3" Closed I didn't take pictures of yet but it has Wood Bolsters and handles also. Could I possibly ask for some help Identifying these knives and from what Time period.

Check your PM.

The last mention of the 822 is the 1994 catalog.
Camillus never listed them with wood glued on the handles like those. I think someone glued the wood on those. Maybe they didn’t like the stainless handles, or wanted to make their own “Rare Factory Find.”

This pattern is all I really collect now Carmillus.I pestered H&H knives for about 3 years to get him to turn loose of this one,so no but thanks,it was part of his Camillus collection. He has some more very nice old Camillus knives in that collection.

Thank you and Vit for looking and the nice comments. Thanks again Vit for posting that catalog and telling it's date.I try to download all cuts of farmers jacks from the old catalogs.

If you guys see any catalog cuts of or real farmers jack knives ,I would appreciate an email or PM.

I was pleased to find this post, and the old catalog pages. I came across this old "Scout Knife" and it appears to be the very one from the catalog. Tell tale sign is that cap lifter with the odd long pull. It's in outstanding condition, with no signs of use. Front stamped with "Sword Brand" the back is stamped with a Camillus 4 line stamp. The spear blade is a really thick blade on the spine, mirror polished on both sides. The punch is interesting.

Since eBay seller ditwtexas chooses to use this post as a reference for his overpriced knives it should be noted that he is not held in good regard by many of the members here to include me. He references this web site for his convenience but disrespects the site and the members here as well.

Search ditwtexas on this site and see for yourself.

He currently has a Sword brand knife
Camillus No.258 Scout Knife Circa-1928 "Sword Brand" 3-3/4" Closed Stag Handles
with a damaged opener blade and well used master blade that he says is c. 1928 and he has priced at at his usual 20% off for $367.99. This particular knife is worth about $30 in my opinion. 1928 is wishful thinking for this knife.

I didn't look at each reply, but referring to the catalog pages shown.....those prices are mighty, mighty steep for 1928. I'd expect to see
more in the $2.00 to $3.00 range not $10.00 to $15.00......just my thoughts.

Those prices are per a dozen knives.
