Camillus 99

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Camillus 99

Here are a couple pictures of a Camillus 99 I have. I was once my father in laws knife. The scales have shrunk, mostly due to poor storage. Still a nice old knife.

You have an early version of the model #99 Camp knife. Note the two piece can-opener that was used during the 1940's through the early 1950's.

Thanks for the information, I was thinking about replacing the scales and reinstalling the shield, but really the scales are just cosmetic, everything else is OK.
