camillus #72

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Its wonderful to see these knives brought back to life! I have in old Case stockman I need to see about getting new covers on now that I think about it.

Jerry got a couple more. Nothing special. Just different tang stamps. Long line and the last tang stamp cant remember what it is called.

Couple of good ones there David. I'm especially fond of the saber grind on the older one. I've just called the newer tang stamp "the double line" stamp. I don't think I've ever heard anyone call it anything else. Nice pickups.
