NUGGETS OF CAMILLUS HISTORY FOR CAMILLUS ENTHUSIASTS

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

anyone have an idea of the value of a #570 Camilus complete display topper from 1973 -1975 . it's a plex-a-glass display that could be attached to the top of a cabinet & has 6 folding knifes still wired to the plexy. knifes can be viewed from both sides, the Camillus logo is still there but, the individual stickers for each knife are all missing just some glue left where they were attached.

thanks in advance

Hello LarryK and welcome to AAPK.

I can't help you with your question as far as worth. But it would be better if you posted your question in the Knife Related Q&A section viewforum.php?f=4. Just scroll to the bottom and click on the "New Topic" tab and type in your question.

It would also be nice if you could post some pictures as it would give a little more visual information. Especially seeing which knives are in the display. A lot depends on Condition and type of knife or knives. Hope this helps some.

Smitty, you do realize that LARRYK's inquiry is from 2018, is over 2 years old and he joined AAPK IN 2014.

Vit you keep coming up with great stuff . Like Ken mentioned the historical references in all your work and posting is just super stuff and will be available to so many . After reading that 1976 Catalog got my eye on a few had forgot about . Remember those years well was just going in the Army and was going to buy a couple of Cam loks but never did .
Take Care over there Vit and again Thank You for your dedication to the Camillus line of Knives and it’s history .
