Jerry, those are fantastic! Especially that Marine Corp retirement knife. I remember when Glennbad posted pics of it after he completed it. I didn't realize it was yours. Hands down the best and most thoughtful mod I've ever seen.

No, no Rick. Not mine. It was for one of Glenn's relatives. I gotta say though, it's one of the classiest ones I've ever seen.

Thanks for the comments. I have thought about a different handle on this 23. Very nice examples all of you shared. I love the hefty blade on it. And you can put a really sharp edge on it no problem!
Here's a 67 I got with it. A little wobble in the main blade buy not terrible. It's a keeper ::tu::

Picked up my 11th Camillus 14 off eBay today. I am such a sucker for these medium Jacks.

My first #23 just walked in. It's a short underline. Blades are pretty good. The handles are a bit scratched.
Should clean up nicely.

Mike, you've probably already discovered that 23 is a fine knife. ::tu::

A coupe of new ones just walked in.
A #23 and a #8.... Did all the #8's come with a leather chord?

Thanks Jerry.... Seems like most of the pics I have seen have the leather chord in the handle.

Hello Everyone! I'm still new to collecting so I was wondering about this knife. I just got it in and I have studied up on Camillus but there is no visible pattern number. Just curious because I like the knife. Any knowledge will be much appreciated! Thanks!

Welcome to AAPK.

Pre-WWII Serpentine Jack with those funky hard cream colored synthetic handles (no idea what they named those handles). It was molded to look like Stag. They didn't stamp the tang with a pattern number prior to WWII.
