Show Us Your Camillus Knives!

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Happy 4th of July everyone! I acquired these two recently. A no line Camillus utility knife and a long line 72. Both need cleaning and oiling but are in decent shape!

This morning, I brought this pocket knife home from the post office. It is one of a two pocket knife lot that I recently purchased. This particular pocket knife was NOT the target of my purchase. But, it is a most welcome addition to my CAMILLUS collection. It is a CAMILLUS, single blade, three tools (a cap lifter/bottle opener, a can opener and a punch/awl), a single tang stamp, 3 3/4" closed, pocket knife. The tang stamp is the three line tang stamp. It reads "CAMILLUS (over) NEW YORK (over) U.S.A." It has NO blade or tool wobble at all. The blade and the tools ALL have a terrific snap. It is in EXCELLENT condition. It needed NO extra attention, I just wiped it off. Here are the pictures of it.
Caption(s), if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

I purchased three knives this weekend and liked the celluloid and mint condition(?) . I was told that they were part of the “Camillus museum collection”. I am just starting to know Camillus so what the heck does that mean if anything ? I did not pay a lot so give me your honest opinions. Thanks they have mirror finish front masters and all else are crocus cloth finish.
