Hubertus Automatics
Re: Hubertus Automatics
The oldest levers I have are tang stamped, not etched (8cm, 10cm, and 11cm)
This is the 8cm
This is a 10cm with imitation stag
This is a 10cm in stag
This is a 11cm in stag
This is a 8cm with the sandblast etch
These next four are different variations of the scarce scale release models

Re: Hubertus Automatics
AK, could you show us some more pics of the scale release models, maybe in the 1/2 open position ect? I was always curious as to how they operated as i've never seen one in person.
Thanks

What Kaleb said, Ken.
I've never seen a scale release Hubertus.
How do they operate.

If it's meant for me to have it, it'll still be there.

Thanks guys! I'm afraid I don't have access to them right now.muskrat man wrote:AK, could you show us some more pics of the scale release models, maybe in the 1/2 open position ect? I was always curious as to how they operated as i've never seen one in person.

Re: Hubertus Automatics
The front scale pivots which lifts the backspring and opens the knife. It is closed in the same manner.Sauconian wrote:What Kaleb said, Ken.

Re: Hubertus Automatics
I wish I had looked at this forum first. I just put a really nice Hubertus picnic knife on ebay for 4.99. If I had known how rare it was, I would have kept it for myself. I won't do that again.
Re: Hubertus Automatics
The top 2 are Hubertus.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

When the knife your grandfather/father carried or put up is handed down to you...treasure it...open it up from time to time...and by all means, keep it!

Love hubertus knives.I have several in my girlfriends safety deposit box.Started buying them 15 years ago. They are definitely better quality than the newer ones i have seen.

Re: Hubertus Automatics
Love leverlock autos but only have the one Hubertus
Re: Hubertus Automatics
I only have this one which had the back spring replaced by muskrat man about a year or so ago. I actually like the UN-matched scales...gives a totally different & unique look to each side.
