Any Info on This Queen Fixed Blade???

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

Any Info on This Queen Fixed Blade???

Post by Chrisd703 »

Hi All,

I have this Queen fixed blade that i THINK may be from 1958-1960 based on the tang stamp. Although I may be completely mistaken.

The blade has been scuffed to death, not sure why or when. The sheath is doing pretty good considering. I haven't seen a large amount of Queen's online with the sheaths, are they hard to come by, or am I not looking in the right places?

Thanks!

Chris

Looks as if you have a pattern #74 Hunting Knife (assuming the blade measures 3 3/4"). You are correct on the years (1958-60). Can't tell from the pics if the handles are bone or Delrin but being from the late 50's, might be bone.
Knives with sheaths are not hard to find but there are more without sheaths than with sheaths.
Queen City. My favorite! Bruno. ::tu::
