Queen City Stockman

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

Queen City Stockman

Post by bdev »

Here's on I just received.
It's a Queen City stockman which is Queens pattern #9. 4" long and wears Rogers Bone. It has steel liners. I'm taking a guess that it was made during wartime. This one was "rode hard and put away wet" and needed a good cleaning. Notice the two different color bone handles.

Nice find. Still looks like it has plenty of blade left for another 50-60 years :)

Bruno,
I believe that old beauty is eligible that special recognition of being called a HOK! ::tu::
