Queen Tang Marks
Queen Tang Marks
Curious if Queen ever produced knives without tang marks. If so, what years. I have researched Queen knife catalogs but can not find anything close to this balloon whittler, any chance this is a Queen? Thanks.
Re: Queen Tang Marks
Yes, Queen made knive without tang stamps, used blade etch instead.
I don't have my info in front of me, but I believe sometime in the 1960s 1970s.

Re: Queen Tang Marks
Queen did not use tang stamps 1961-71. They did etch the main blade with their name and pattern number. If your knife is in original condition and not refinished, it's probably not a Queen. I'll check one of my book later and see if that pattern is pictured.
BTW....very nice knife.

Just checked my Queen books and could not find that pattern with that blade set up.

Re: Queen Tang Marks
When I posted earlier the pictures did not show up.
I also believe this is not a Queen.
